Equipment: 1 die, 12 game pieces, 2 sets of six pieces called "Sliders" in two different colors, each set numberd 1-6. The Slider Dice Gameboard has 16 spaces set out as shown: 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Object of the game: Get four of your game pieces arranged in a winning pattern, which means four in a row of the same color in any direction, horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or have the same color piece in each of the four corners. The play: Players control only their colored pieces. A player starts play by rolling the die. Whatever number is rolled, that player places the corresponding number piece anywhere on the board. For example if he rolls a four, his piece with the number 4 on it can be placed anywhere on the board, and play moves to the other player, who continues play by doing the same, rolling the die and placing the corresponding numbered piece anywhere on the board. If the number rolled on the die is already on the board, that piece MUST be moved (slid) if it can be moved. There are situations where it cannot be moved, in which case that player simply loses his turn. RULES FOR MOVEMENT OF THE SLIDERS: After a Slider has been placed onto the grid, each time that number is rolled, the Slider must be moved (slid) in any chosen direction AS FAR AS IT WILL GO, no jumping of pieces or stopping until the piece reaches the edge of the grid or bumps into another piece. If the Slider cannot be moved, player loses his turn. REMEMBER: The piece may be moved in any direction, but must be moved as far as it will go, no stopping on other open spaces, and no jumping of pieces. (That's why they're called "Sliders").
